An extraordinary football match took place several days ago in Poznań.

The players of the first-league Lech Poznań team played a friendly match with the national team of Cuba. The players from Poznań turned out to be better and won 4-1.
The Cuban national team came to Europe for several weeks for the grouping before the selection matches to the 2010 World Championships. In the qualification group the Cubans will play, inter alia, with the USA. For Lech players, the match with Cuba was the last test before the first matches in the UEFA Cup competition. Lech’s first opponent will be Chazar Lenkoran from Azerbaijan.
