A Half Marathon, a 21 kilometer long race was organized in Poznań for the first time.

The participants were supposed to run a looped route round the city centre. It’s the same route that is covered twice by the participants of a regular marathon in Autumn.
Nathan Soimo from Kenya won the first Poznań Half Marathon. It took him an hour, 5 minutes and 59 seconds to reach the finishing line. Marek Jaroszewski from Poland, came in second and Ukrainian Yevgen Sirotin finished third.
