A couple of days ago Poznań hosted the Enea Cup Poznań 2008 - the Polish Cup in Women’s Volleyball Final.

In a new sports hall at Droga Dębińska the elite of the Polish women’s volleyball met. The 8 best teams took part in the competition.
After very exciting semifinals, two teams from Wielkopolska: Winiary Bakalland Kalisz and Farmutil Piła secured themselves a place in the finals. Over 2 thousand fans watched the finals in the sports hall. The match was also broadcast by one of the TV stations. Volleyball players from Piła beat their opponents 3:0.
Another volleyball feast awaits fans in a couple of weeks. The World League volleyball team will once again come Poznań.
