Poznań will co-organize the Milky Start Danone Cup 2008.

The final of the cup will take place at the municipal stadium in Poznań at the beginning of June.
Football Cup for Kids will be held for the tenth time. This year Danone organizes one of the biggest children football championship events in Poland, the Milky Start Danone Cup 2008. Around 50,000 competitors, boys and girls aged 11 to12, will take part in the competition. Teams will have to go through four qualifying rounds to qualify for the Great Final in Poznań. Zinedine Zidane, a world-famous football player who is the Ambassador of the Danone football and children programmes, will be the guest of honour at the Final.
Milky Start Cup is organized in 40 countries with 3 million participants under the name Danone Nations Cup. The competition is held under the patronage of FIFA and in Poland – PZPN (the Polish Football Association). The winning team of the Danone Cup will represent Poland in the international finals in France in the summer.
