The winter is really close, so the winter sports fans may march in.

In Poznań for several weeks now it has been possible to use two artificial ice rinks. One of them is situated in the neighbourhood of the Malta Lake. A few kilometres farther there is the only artificial ski lift in this part of Poland – Malta Ski. You may ski there practically all year long. However, when the temperature drops, snow cannons appear on the slope to produce artificial snow. So you do not have to go to the mountains in order to ski.
