From October 25 2007 to October 27 2007, Wielkopolska will host a competition between four men’s national handball teams.

Apart from the Polish national team, teams from Hungary, Estonia and Denmark are going to take part in the III International Handball Grundfos Cup 2007.
As well as in Poznan, sports fans will have an opportunity to see handball players compete in Kalisz and Leszno.
Recently, handball has become extremely popular in Poland. This is because the Polish national team finished second in the World Championships several months ago, having been defeated in the final by the renowned German national team.
