Bogna Jozwiak, a sabre fencer from the Academic Sports Association (AZS) in Poznan, won the bronze medal at the World Fencing Championship in Saint Petersburg.
This has been Bogna’s greatest success so far. Bogna Jozwiak defeated, among others, the current European Champion, Ekaterina Fedorkina from Russia, and the 2004 Olympic fencing gold medal winner Mariel Zagunis from the USA, in the Championship
