Once again, the streets of Poznan are to provide the finish line of a stage of the Tour de Pologne cycling race.
It is not only the largest cycling race in Poland, but also one of the oldest in Europe. Tour de Pologne is one of the oldest events of this type in Europe. Only the most famous cycling race in the world - Tour de France – is older. For several years the race has belonged to the high Pro Tour rank. This is an elite list of 20 cycling races in which only the best teams participate. The best cyclists appear on the start line. This year the race will start on September 9th in Warsaw. From there the cyclists will go to Olsztyn and later on to Gdańsk. They will arrive in Poznan on September 12th. Just like in the past, the stage finish line will be in the vicinity of Lake Malta. From Poznan the cyclists will ride into the South of Poland , where two mountain stages are planned. As in the previous years, Tour the Pologne will end in Karpacz in Karkonosze Mountains, right by the Polish-Czech border. ![]() |
