Bogna Jóźwiak, the AZS Poznań fencer, finished 6th in the Word Championships that took place in Hawana.

It is the fifth time this season that Jóźwiak has won a place in the leading eight of the World Championships. The winner of the tournament was Mariel Zaguis from USA. Bogna Jóźwiak is 10th in the World Championship ratings.
