Posnania Poznań is the oldest football club in Poznań and has celebrated its one hundredth birthday.

It was established 8th May 1907 and was initially called Normania Poznań. Its present name came into being in 1912. Today Posnania is one of the best Polish canoeing and rowing educational clubs. It has Olympic and World Championship medallists under its wings. Apart from canoeing and rowing it also has swimming, motor boating, rugby, nautical and tennis divisions.
The height of the celebrations is planned for the middle of September. However, the anniversary sport contests organised by each division will take place before that
