The Polish indoor hockey national team is taking part in the World Championships in Vienna.

The Polish team is defending their 2003 title of world vice-champions. Their opponents in the first phase of the championships are: Italy, Canada, Spain, South Africa and Austria. Two best teams from each of the two groups will advance to the semi-finals and then compete for medals. The remaining teams will compete for the positions 5 to 12.
