Christmas and New Year can be a good opportunity for outdoor leisure.

Enthusiasts of running from Poznań and its surroundings have been meeting at the New Year’s Eve Run around Malta Lake for over ten years now. Every year, the event attracts several hundred runners. The main run covers the distance of 5.3 km (the length of the Malta Lake circumference). At the same time as the run for adults, races for children and teenagers at the distances of 1 and 2 km take place.
