Only a few days left to the start of the 12. Poznań Marathon. The event promises to be a record. The list of application is as long as 4.000 names.

The applications are accepted only until 9 October. The Marathon itself will take place a week later, on 16 October 2011. The prize pool for the best runners is 230 thousand PLN (over 70 thousand Euro).

Kenya citizens will fight for the first place and the new route record, mobilized by the awards: 10 thousand PLN and another 10 thousand PLN for setting the new route record. Just as fascinating competition will be among the ladies. Two participants: Agnieszka Janasiak from Poznań and Pamela Chepkoeach Bundotich from Kenya delcared that they will attack and beat the women's route record, which is 2 hours, 35 minutes and 28 seconds.
