The system monitoring the roof construction of the Municipal Stadium in Poznań is composed of a system of detectors monitoring the construction’s movements and the 36 metres high meteorological mast. Thanks to this installation, the ongoing readings data analysis collected by the detectors can be complemented with meteorological data from the mast. The assembly of the security monitoring system constitutes one of the elements of modernisation for the Municipal Stadium conducted by the company EURO Poznań 2012.  Based on the conducted analyses it is concluded that the best territory for the installation of the mast is the space next to the stand no 1, by the training pitches. The mast was installed at the end of works related to hardening and levelling of the surface of the pitch.
