Hala Arena once again proved lucky for the Polish handball team representation, who in the last match of qualifying for the European Championship in Handball defeated Portugal 30:22 and advanced to the Championship, which in January 2012 will be held in Serbia.
The Poles came to the game focused, because the stakes were high. After the last round of matches Poles need at least a tie with Portugal to advance to the Championship. Eventually the Poles defeated Portugal and advanced to the finals taking first place in qualifying group. Apart from Poland from the same group also won advance the team of Slovenia. |
