At the start line of last year's Poznań Marathon stood over 4 thousand competitors and to the finish reached 3873, of which 373 were women. Ladies accounted for less than 10%. This year it has to change. Organizers have already created a special team of ladies who will start in this year's Poznań Marathon. The team will be an advertisement for the Poznań Marathon and encouragement for other women.
Organizers are also still waiting for applications from men.
Applications will be accepted until 9th October 2011, and the marathon will be held on 16th October 2011. |
