The completed stadium is a great asset to Poznań - such opinions could be heard during the visit of foreign journalists who visited the city. Over 60 guests visited the airport, Municipal Stadium, the fan zone in the city centre and the Old Market Square. The journalists represent the major foreign media, dealing with social issues and sports. They included, among others representatives, those from such well known media as the French "L'Equipe", German "Kicker" and the Italian "La Gazzeta dello Sport".
At the Municipal Stadium journalists met with the Mayor, Ryszard Grobelny, and also viewed a presentation on the preparations of Poznań for the Championships. On the part of guests from abroad fell detailed questions about the progress of preparations for the UEFA EURO 2012 and also concerning security in the stadium.
The visit of journalists was held at the invitation of UEFA. The group of sports journalists spent in Ukraine and Poland nearly a week. At that time, they visited each of the eight cities that next year will be host the finalists of the European Football Championships EURO 2012.
