Already in a few days, in the capital of Wielkopolska province the fourth edition of Poznan Halfmarathon will take place.

Each of participants will get, as a part of the start-up package, among others: a commemorative T-shirt and a personal starting number. From early beginning the halfmarathon is accompanied by the Expo Fair which, like the contest’s office, is located in the Arena hall. At 24 stands it will be possible to get to know the innovations on the sport market in the scope of clothes, shoes, conditioners and diet supplements. Among the exhibitors will be the favourite runners’ portals: “Maraton Polski” and “Maratonczyk”.

The participants will run along the traditional marathon’s route ( start at Abp. Baraniak Street and finish at the Malta Lake), but with only this difference that they will run only one lap. The runners will be supported, besides the music bands, by the pacemakers who will conduct race for the following time: 1:30, 1:40, 1:50, 2:00. Each runner who will finish the race of the distance 21.097 km within regular time of 3 hours will get a medal and the best ones will be awarded with financial prizes. The record of the route to be broken is 1 hour 2 minutes and 32 seconds. This record was set up last year by the runner from Kenya- Cosmas Kyeva.
