The Lech Poznań footballers lost the return match with Portuguese Sporting Braga and ended their European Cup adventure. Despite the defeat, this has been the greatest success of Polish club football for more than 20 years.
"Kolejarz" won the first match with the Portuguese team, played at home, 1-0. The winning goal was scored by Artyon Rudnevs.
Previously, the great success of the Poznań footballers was leaving the group after the matches with, inter alia, Juventus Turin and Manchester City. |
