Men's and Women's World Field Indoor Hockey Cup will be staged on the premises of the Poznan International Fair. The competitions will be attended by 12 women's teams (the Netherlands, Germany, Ukraine, Belarus, Czech Republic, Australia, Austria, Poland, Argentina, Namibia, Kazakhstan and Uruguay and 12 men's teams (Germany, Austria, Poland, Russia, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Canada, England, Australia, USA, Namibia and Iran).

Indoor field hockey was invented in the first half of the twentieth century in German-speaking countries. To date, Europe has dominated this spectacular game, which in Poland has always aroused great interest.
