During its recent meeting in Minsk, Belarus, UEFA Executive Committee approved an official schedule for the upcoming UEFA EURO 2012TM European Championship to be held from the 8th of June to the 1st of July 2012 in Poland and Ukraine. In Poland, Wroclaw and Poznan will host group-phase matches, while Gdansk will be a host for three group matches and a quarter final. Warsaw will host three group matches, including one opening the group A and featuring Poland, and a quarter-final and semi-final match. Poland will play its second group match in Warsaw, the third one in Wroclaw. In Ukraine, two cities, Kharkov and Lviv will host three group matches, while Donetsk will host three group matches, a quarter-final and a semi-final. Kiev will be the arena for three group matches, a quarter-final and a final of the UEFA EURO 2012. Ukraine will play its first match in the group D in Kiev, and then two matches in Donetsk. Poznan will host players of the group C. The first match at the Poznan?s City Stadium will be held on the 10th of June at 8:45 pm. Following matches are scheduled for the 14th of June, 6.00 pm and the last one for the 18th of June ? at 8:45 pm. Other matches of this group will be played in Gdansk. |
