According to the decision of the Board of the European Hockey Federation, the Women?s II European Field Hockey Championship will take place in Poznan from the 6th to the 14th of August 2011.
The Women?s European Championship as staged in Poznan will be entered by teams of the so-called group B; Bielarus, France, Poland, Russia, Scotland, Switzerland, Ukraine and Wales.
Field hockey is very popular in Poznan. The city is the base for the Polish Field Hockey Federation. It is also the home of the greatest number of sports clubs. |
