In Poznan, 800 days before the launching of the UEFA EURO 2012?, a photo exhibition entitled ?Stadium people? has been opened.
The exhibition can be seen in the Courtyard of Art in Stary Browar. 36 photographs, taken by amateurs, often by accident, without special arrangements and broad conceptions, are to be admired at the exhibition. The stadium in Poznan in not only a large-scale construction project, but is primarily about the people who are creating it and waiting impatiently for the investment to be completed. Their great commitments and emotions can be observed at the building site, and recognised in talks and e-mails. The stadium?s people are hundreds of people working every day and also those who are visiting the stadium during the ?open door? days. Smiling faces, captured in the picture, curiosity reflected in peoples? eyes, concentration and efforts have become an inspiration for creating the exhibition, which illustrates how the Stadium?s construction has its foundations built on human beings, not material objects ? it is people with their emotions and passions that create the Stadium.
Also, everyone waiting for the opening of the Stadium can join a common cause to help children. Photographs can be auctioned on the following website: www.europoznan2012.allegro.pl. The money raised in the auction will be allocated for making children?s dreams from one of the children?s home in Poznan come true. The auction started on 1st April and will last two weeks. |
