| Julia Michalska – a rower from Poznan who entered the finals during the Olympic Games in Beijing and won the title of Female World Champion this year – has a new boat. The professional boat was purchased for her by the City of Poznan. This way of showing support for the best Poznan female rower was the idea of the late vice-mayor of Poznan, Maciej Frankiewicz. |
