The Poznan Arena hall recently hosted an unusual duel
– a handball match between players from Russia and Poland. Both teams are world leaders, but at their last meeting in 2008, the game for 5th place at the Olympic Games in Beijing was won by the Poles. The encounter in Poznan was a return match. This time, the game between Poland and Russia was part of a large international handball tournament held in Poland, which also featured teams from the Czech Republic, Norway and Slovakia.
