It was a real breakfast of champions - the Mayor of Poznan, Ryszard Grobelny invited medallists of world championships, representing Poznan-based clubs to participate.
Special statuettes were presented to several medallists, including Anita Włodarczyk – gold medallist of the Berlin Athletics Championship and world record holder, Julia Michalska and Magadalena Fularczyk – gold medallists of the World Rowing Championships held in Poznan this year, Małgorzata Chojnacka – gold medallist of the World Kayaking Championships held in Dartmouth, Szymon Ziółkowski – silver medallists of the Berlin Athletics Championship, Magdalena Kemitz – silver medallist of the World Kayaking Championship held in Poznan, Marta Walczykiewicz – silver medallists of the Dartmouth World Kayaking Championship, as well as Żaneta Glanc, Dorota Jędrusińska, Robert Kubarczyk, Artut Żaczek and Kamil Masztak – silver medallists of the 15th Summer Universiade in Belgrade. |
