| World Championships medals will also be brought to Poznan by two female canoeists from Poznan. During the recently finished World Championships in the Canadian city of Dartmouth, a gold medal in the K-2 1000 metres competition was won by Małgorzata Chojnacka from Poznan and her partner – Beata Mikołajczyk – from Bydgoszcz. Moreover, another female canoeist from Poznan, Marta Walczykiewicz, won a silver medal in the K1 200 metres competition. |
