Poznan is applying for organisation of the 5th European Open Bridge Championships in 2011.
The host city of the championships will be announced at the meeting of the Executive Committee of the European Bridge League, to be held during the European Cup in Paris from the 15th to 18th October 2009. EBL representatives will make the choice between Poznan and the Bulgarian city of Albena.
Poznan’s candidature was presented in June in Italy during the European Bridge Championships. It is already known that the bridge players would play on the premises of the International Poznan Fair. |
