In June at Plac Wolności ,a huge beach of over 1,000 m² will be laid, upon which the Qualifying rounds of the Polish Volleyball Championships will be held.
University professors, journalists and City Hall employees will all be playing on this beach volleyball court in the very centre of Poznan. There will also be volleyball training sessions with the best practitioners of the sport. The main purpose of all this activity is the promotion of sports connected with sand: beach volleyball, beach handball and beach football, and all under the tutelage of the best sportsmen and coaches. In the afternoons there will be activities for kids - dancing courses, animation and other creative classes. In the evenings beautiful dancers will give performances of Latin American and oriental dances. |
