Poznań won three awards in the Polish competition “Oskary Sportowe Gminess”

 

Poznań won three awards in the Polish competition “Oskary Sportowe Gminess” (Gminess – Sports’ Oscars), which promotes the communes’ sport and recreational activities.
The City of Poznań, which promotes the idea “Poznań stands for sports”, was honoured by the jury in three categories:

 

Best mass sports event (9th Poznań Marathon).
Commune’s sport and tourism investments (the City Stadium modernisation).
Children and youth sports in the commune.

Gminess – the Sports Oscars, is the first step from the planned scheme of activities which should popularise physical, tourist and recreational activities among the inhabitants of villages and cities.
