Over 1500 runners took part in the ‘Rozbiegany Poznań! - Interrun 2008’ leisure running event.

The interest in the event was so high that there were no application forms available five days prior to the event. It just proves that running is becoming more and more popular in Poznań. The picturesque route of the five-kilometre run was set up around Lake Malta. ‘Each step makes your goal closer’ was the slogan of the event. The participants gave a number of reasons for their presence, ranging from great fun, checking their results, to meeting active people from Poznań. Each participant received a commemorative medal at the finish line.
A competition for a 'running' school or university was organised along with the run. The University of Economics had the largest number of participants.
