The extension of the 2nd stand of the city stadium, which will be one of the stadiums of EURO 2012, has been completed.

Currently, the finishing details are being carried out. Also installation of seats in the new level of the stand has begun.
When the new structure starts operating, disassembly works of the 1st and 3rd stands and the existing lighting will begin. Due to the fact that league matches will be organised during the modernisation, it is indispensable to adjust the facility to the situation. As a result, installation of temporary lighting has begun and the works should finish in the first quarter of October. Pits for new lighting pillars have already been prepared. This solution will allow for the continuation of the stadium modernisation without failing to meet any of the requirements needed for the normal course of a football match.
