From September the 8^th-10^th, Poznan will host delegations of Ministries of Culture from Europe and Asia. A meeting will be held in the capital of Wielkopolska as one of the initiatives undertaken by the ASEM, an organisation coordinating the cooperation between Asia and Europe. The three day meeting of Ministers of Culture will be held under the slogan ?heritage in the face of the challenges of the contemporary world? and is expected to gather around 200 guests. The opening ceremony will take place in the Poznan National Museum and will be followed by a concert of Chopin?s music in the Great Hall of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. The evening will end with a dinner held by the President of the City of Poznan. Several trips have also been prepared for the meeting?s participants, which will allow them to see the Old Market Square, the Ostrów Tumski island and Lednica Lake. The chief organiser of the ASEM meeting in Poznan is the city?s Ministry of Culture.

The meeting will be accompanied by a wide range of cultural events, including exhibitions and concerts.
