Balkan Sevdah performs music inspired by musical traditions originating in various regions of the Balkan Peninsula (Albania, Greece, Turkey, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Serbia and Kosovo). Recently, they?ve often drawn upon musical themes from Epirus in Albania and Pirin in Bulgaria.
