Their music is a combination of various stylistic influences. Formed in 1999 in Płock, the band released their debut album, ?Gusła? (?Witchcraft?), in 2002. Their second album, ?Powstanie Warszawskie? (?The Warsaw Uprising?) came a year after that, while the third one, ?Gospel? ? in 2008. The latter was received with enthusiasm by both critics and the public and earned Lao Che a Gold Disc and the Polish TV Kultura ?Gwarancja Kultury? Award. In March 2010, the group have released their newest album ? ?Prąd Stały / Prąd Zmienny? (?Direct Current / Alternating Current?).
