Ryszard Grobelny will continue his service as Mayor of Poznań.

He has been elected for the second time by the Poznań inhabitants in the direct election. The Mayor defeated the Civic Platform candidate, Maria Pasło-Wiśniewska, in the second round, receiving 58.8% of votes.
According to the data from the State Election Committee, Ryszard Grobelny was elected by 89,161 eligible voters. 
Ryszard Grobelny has announced that in his new term he will deal with, first of all, the promotion of Poznań. Neglects in this scope constituted the main charges of his rivals.
