A gigantic transparent cube, full of the cultural atmosphere of Poznan, will stand at Plac. Wolności. The installation constitutes a part of the ?Odetchnij Kulturą? (Breathe in Culture) all Poland image campaign which, for the first time, will show the inhabitants of Poland that Poznan is not only the centre of business and the host of important sports events but also an ideal city for those thirsty for artistic sensations.
The campaign is to encourage people to visit Poznan during one of the many cultural events that are to take place this summer in our city. And the list is long. On the 17th of June this year there starts another edition of the Ethno Port Poznan Festival inspired with traditional music of various regions of the world. The 26th of June marks the beginning of the 20th Malta Festival which is one of the greatest theatrical events in Europe. Poznan will also host the International Animation Festival, the 17th International Contemporary Dance Workshops, the 7th International Dance Theatre Festival, the 5th Made in Chicago Jazz Festival, the International Young Audience Film Festival and the Art & Fashion Festival in the Old Brewery.
The ?Breathe in Culture? campaign will start in mid June and last till the end of August. |
