A jury of the most prestigious self-government marketing competition, the ?Złote Formaty? (Golden Formats) recently recognised the promotional actions of the City of Poznan. The campaigns awarded include: ?Great Brands?, the ?Poznan attracts the best? competition and the ?Poznan for half price? action. However, the most important award was the second place in the Grand Prix category, in which Poznan was the best city.

Poznan was awarded honourable mentions and prizes in the following categories: outdoor campaign, event, and online campaign. In total, the Poznan delegation brought to Poznan four honourable mentions and two prizes. In the outdoor category, Poznan took the first place for the ?Great Brands? campaign, which accompanied the unveiling of the city?s new logo and launching of the Poznan Brand Promotion Strategy.

The second Academic Poznan Campaign ?www.poznanprzyciaganajlepszych.pl? with a competition in which the main prize was money covering one year of studies in our city, was awarded in the online campaign category. In the event category, the jury appreciated our nationwide (and not only) famous ?Poznan for half price? action. However, the most highly lauded event category was the nomination of the Poznan Brand Promotion Strategy for the main prize: Grand Prix Złote Formaty. In this year?s edition of the Złote Formaty competition, 75 cities and regions entered 173 projects: 53 in the Promotional Publisher category, 25 in the Outdoor Campaign category, 19 in the Online Campaign category, 64 in the Event category and 12 in the most prestigious and, at the same time, most difficult category of the Festival Grand Prix Promotional Activity. Of the above mentioned, the 28 best projects were qualified by the Jury for the final.
