The construction of the Inter-University Nano-Biomedical Centre has already started.
The centre is a common initiative by four of Poznan’s universities: Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan University of Technology, the University of Environmental Science and the Medical University. The Centre will be a part of the academic camp in Morasko and will offer master and doctoral studies in the field of modern nano-biomedical technologies. The vice chancellors of the universities involved have already laid the foundation stone for the centre’s construction. The investment cost has been estimated at PLN 111 million (about €25 million). Money for the construction come from the state budget and the European Regional Development Fund. There will be 9 laboratories in the new centre, including biological, chemical and physical laboratories. The centre will be completed in the second half of 2011. |
