In the beginning of April, bicycle rental from the Urban transport Authority, at os. Jana III Sobieskiego in the Poznan area, called ‘Piątkowo’, will again start operating.
Bicycles can be rented only to adults. Anyone who possess a valid ‘komkarta’ (a monthly travel card valid on trains and buses), and after paying a registration fee of 5 PLN and signing a declaration, can rent one bicycle for free, and is obliged to return it on the same or the following day. Those who do not possess a valid ‘komkarta’ can rent a bicycle after presenting their identity card and signing an agreement, as well as paying a fee of 2 PLN for every rental hour. There is also the possibility of renting a bicycle for two days. Then, the fee per day is 20 PLN.
Rental for periods longer than that is possible after informing an employee, and will be charged for according to the price list. There are 125 bicycles waiting in the Urban transport Authority rental. |
