Several young students have begun their studies at the Adam Mickiewicz University. The “Colorful university” (“Kolorowy uniwersytet”), designed for children aged 6 to 12, has inaugurated its classes.
The “Colorful university” will be based on a monthly cycle of meetings, during which children can participate in classes conducted by academic lecturers. Within each meeting, one of the children will also have an opportunity to give his or her own lecture. Additional Departments of AMU will host classes and suggest topics of the meetings. In this way, children will learn about the entire university, they will receive credit books, which will make them feel like rightful students. At the end, those of children, who will receive credits for at least five meetings, will be awarded diplomas during a ceremonial graduation. |
