Delegation of Afghanistan met the authorities of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences and the Charity Foundation "Redemptoris Missio".
In this way, the Afghans wanted to thank for the assistance provided by the citizens of Poznań through the Foundation to the Afghan children.
The Poznań's citizens reacted to the requests of the Foundation for warm winter clothing for Afghan children. An additional problem was the fact that due to the customs provisions the clothes had to be new. The Foundation was visited by crowds of people, all wanting to give something to the kinds. One of the nuns knitted 150 hats in two weeks. The gifts included school supplies and stuffed toys. So far over 9 tons of winter clothing and school supplies were distributed. Thanks to two actions, last year and this year, we managed to help thousands of children. |
