The final duels of the representations of Polish and Ukrainian universities within the Polish-Ukrainian football tournament - STUDENTEURO 2011 in Warsaw ended with the victory of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, followed by the Kharkov Zoo Veterinary Academy. The third place was taken by the Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw, after it had defeated the Land Forces Academy in Lvov.
The final matches in Warsaw were preceded by semi-final tournaments which took place in 4 Polish host cities of the next year European Football Championship UEFA EURO 2012. The tournament was attended by representations of 12 Polish universities. Poznań was represented by the Adam Mickiewicz University and the Poznań University of Technology.
The first round of the tournament was organized in September 2010 in Ukrainian EURO 2012 cities: Kharkov, Donetsk, Kiev and Lvov. |
