For the first time, companies from Poland presented themselves at the most important event for young Internet companies - "TechCrunch Disrupt" in San Francisco. What is more - they all came from Poznań!
Several dozen panels, where Startups will be presented, will be organized during the three days conference. Four Startups from Poznań will show their profiles: BookLikes - a community service for book readers, where users can post reviews and comments and discuss the read books. On the basis of the information collected from the user, the website suggests them other proposals according to their preferences. The service was created in English version, and its users come mainly from abroad. Fusion Sheep – the project enables the management of home multimedia. The aim of its creators was to integrate the television, phone and computer. The technology allows, among others, for a transmission of a video film from YouTube to the TV screen in only a few seconds. Legimi - an Internet shop with eBooks enabling an easy management of selected items. Moreover, the service offers books for various platforms, such as: e-readers, smart phones, tablet PCs and computers. SaveUp - a mobile application enabling the recognition of products based on images. At present, more than 3 million products are included in the data base (in most of the cases these are books, e-books and audio books). |
