The Cellardoor team made up of: Aleksandra Łukasiak, Rafał Szekalski, Oskar Szulc and Krzysztof Żarczyński from the Adam Mickiewicz University, prepared an interactive novel entitled “The Book of Elm”. The Book of Elm is an interactive novel which allows the users to face problems of the modern world. The player steers the figure – Elma which repairs mistakes made by humans. The game is dedicated to children. It teaches them that everybody can participate in the environment protection through everyday, simple activities such as saving water and electric energy. The game relates to the 3R concept: reduce, reuse and recycle.

In the same final, the second place in the category “IT technologies” was taken by students of the Poznań University of Technology – Błażej Matuszyk. Błażej was coping with IT problems, on his own, for 24 hours.
