The Adam Mickiewicz University and the Poznań University of Life Sciences were awarded in the "Modern University" program, the aim of which is the computerization of Polish universities.
In the "Modern University" program, whose goal was the computerization of Polish universities, the Adam Mickiewicz University received the Gold Certificate, and the Poznań University of Life Sciences received the Silver Certificate. The program is run by the Microsoft Dynamics – Microsoft business application division. The Gold Certificate is awarded to the university, where the integrated ERP IT system supporting management was implemented and started, the Silver Certificate is awarded to universities that are in the process of implementation of the integrated IT system.
The awarded certificates are to change the approach of the Polish universities towards computerization, which is an unavoidable process. The "Modern University" program is the only initiative in Poland promoting computerization of Polish universities. The idea behind the program is to promote the IT systems that allow the Polish universities to keep pace with the European standards and which improve the quality of the institution management. |
