Three projects proposed by universities in Ponzań will receive funding for the so-called ordered majors within this year’s competition organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The Poznań University of Technology can be proud of its two projects qualified for the competition. The first one is called “Inżynier - fizyk dla innowacyjnych technologii” (“Engineer – physician for innovative technologies”), and the other one “Energetyka dla energetycznych” (“Energy for the energetic”). The project by the Adam Mickiewicz University “Studia na Biotechnologii i Ochronie Środowiska UAM drogą do sukcesu zawodowego” (“Studies at Biotechnology and Environmental Protection at UAM as a way towards a professional success”) was given the highest note among all propositions from Poznań.
The Ministry of Science and Higher Education, within the governmental programme of ordered majors, provides financial support for education of additional students in the areas which are crucial for the development of the country’s economy: mathematical, technical and natural sciences. In accordance with expectations of specialists, people educated in these specializations will soon be sought after on the labor market, and their qualification and knowledge gained during the studies will become an indispensable part of proper development of the Polish economy. |
