The cornerstone for the construction of Complex of High Technology Incubators, the biggest investment of the Poznań Science and Technology Park Foundation of Adam Mickiewicz University of Poznań, was laid.
The Project covers construction of a complex of two laboratory buildings of usable area of over 4,500 square meters, connected with each other by means of a glazed street. The ground floor of the south wing was designed for chemical block with two-storey technological hall located in the supplies and warehouse zone. The floor of the south wings was reserved for biotechnological part with a separate microbiology laboratory. The cost of the entire investment, co-financed from the funds of the European Union, amounts to PLN 57 million, including PLN 32 million for construction works.
Apart from modern infrastructure, the enterprises-tenants will have access to a package of business-related services, supporting their development. Newly established companies can benefit from incubation activities, facilitating survival in the initial phase of operation and their further development.
PPNT is the oldest science and technology park in Poland. It was created within the Foundation of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. For 15 years, it has been supporting the process of commercialization of research results in economy and stimulation of Wielkopolska’s economic development. PPNT combines workshops, laboratories and companies from the field of chemistry and chemical technology, archeology, computer science, physics, geology and economic sciences.
