In Poznań Chwaliszew, next to Ewangelicka Street 1, a branch of New Gas Plant Pavilon was opened.
The activity of New Gas Plant Pavilon is addressed primarily to promote the idea of revitalizing post-industrial area of the Old Gas Plant. It should help to create a platform that through artistic activities, discussions and community service will monitor the progress of work in creating a new, important place for culture in Poznań. New Gas Plant Pavilon’s activities will be targeted on Chwaliszewo inhabitants, creators and consumers of contemporary culture in Poznań and beyond. The program will focus on issues related to the city and architecture, revitalization, operations with the local community and educational projects. The aim of the Pavilion is to promote contemporary culture with particular emphasis on the activities of young artists, new technology, designing and revise of contemporary culture vision. The Pavilion will be open to all kinds of artistic and civic activity in line with the motto "one place - many opportunities". |
