Adam Mickiewicz University and the city of Poznan invite you to an open lecture by one of the most interesting figures in modern world of musicology professor Karol Berger.
Karol Berger is one of the most interesting figures in modern world musicology. He lived in Warsaw until 1968, when interrupted his studies in musicology at the University of Warsaw, and emigrated to the USA. In 1975 he completed doctoral studies in musicology at Yale University. Since 1982 he is a professor of musicology at Stanford University in California. The lecture titled "Musicology and Contemporary humanities" will take place on the 6th of June 2011 at 10 a.m. in the meeting room at the Poznan Society of Friends of Sciences on Mielżyńskiego 27/29 in Poznan. The lecture is organized under the national conference of students and doctoral students in musicology, which will take place on 6-9 June 2011 in Poznan. |
